Work Day Email RegistrationYes! I will be there!
Next Workday Jan 30, 2021
Duncan Creek Brushing, cont.
On Saturday, January 30 from 10AM until about 2PM we’ll be back at Duncan Creek (at Cty SS) brushing alders and debris from the banks. LINK TO MAP. I am hoping some folks will want to get out and join us for some fresh air and exercise. No special skills needed, we mostly just need people to drag and stack brush. Work at your own pace and enjoy the outdoors.
Please send me an RSVP if you plan to attend, at email@example.com (don’t reply to this email – it will go to no one). Due to COVID we are limited to the first 10 volunteers who sign up, therefore, showing up without an RSVP runs the risk that you will have to drive back home if we have too many people.
TO BRING: leather gloves, ear plugs, and wear old clothes because we will be burning what we cut, and falling embers will ruin expensive outerwear. If you have some hip boots or even old waders that may allow you to work along the banks and cross the stream easily without having to go back to the bridge.
We will be following COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Due to COVID we will not be providing lunch, so bring some snacks for yourself, and some water to stay hydrated.
Remember to RSVP! Hope to see you January 30.
